How do I know which social media platforms are right for me?

You don’t have to! Here at Alcove, we’ll work with you to find the best strategy for your brand. We never want you to over extend on social media (or your budget) so we will give you honest feedback on where we think you need to be and help you figure out what’s truly best for your business.

Can I add or remove the social media paltforms to be managed?

Of course! You are welcome to change things up whenever you need to. Flexibility is our middle name.

Do you create and curate all the content for my social media or do I have to provide you with anything?

Product photos are very helpful towards building a professional social media campaign, but they are not mandatory. For our other businesses, like services and professionals, any photos you have are also welcome to be shared, but not required. Typically we can get everything we need from your website. However, we also offer content creation services that may meet your brand's needs.

why is an agency better than hiring in-house?

Let the professionals handle it. The primary benefit to having an agency manage your social media campaign is experience. By focusing specifically on social media, agencies have the ability to stay up-to-date on current changes and know all of the ins and outs of the various intricacies of social media. At Alcove, we have contacts at many of the social platforms and are kept aware of any changes that may occur so we may plan accordingly.

So what are you going to post?

We post a variety of content depending on what best fits your brand and your goals. We follow the 80/20 marketing rule, where eighty percent of your content is aimed to engage your target audience, while twenty percent will be advertising to them. With that in mind, we will share interesting articles, beautiful branded graphics and other sharable content with your fans, as well as post links back to your website promoting your products or services. We also make sure your blog is posted professionally to your social media platforms and as well as to your website.

Will you setup my social media platforms? Is that extra?

Setup of your social media platforms, including professional artwork and content optimization, is always included when needed. We know you don’t have time to do everything yourself, and we’re happy to help out. If you prefer to setup your social media platforms yourself, we’ll walk you through it. And no, there is no extra charge for this.

When do you charge me?

Your first bill will be within 15 days after we’ve begun to implement your marketing strategy. After that, you’ll be billed a prorated amount to get you on a 30 day billing cycle that begins at the first of each month.

Can we ever meet face to face?

Alcove Digital Media is based in beautiful Reno, Nevada, and serves the Los Angeles area as well. If you are in the Reno / Lake Tahoe or Los Angeles area, we’d be happy to sit down and connect!

Can I cancel my services at anytime? 

We prepare your content in advance to make sure there are no surprises, so we do ask for notice 30 days in advance before the next billing cycle by phone call.

Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, Pinterest, Snapchat, Instagram, Yelp, and more.

We also work with a range of different social media tools like Hootsuite, LATER, CoSchedule, to name a few.

will social media work for my business?

Yes. Social media can work for any company. Social media allows endless consumer connections to be made and maintained like no other advertising outlet. It enhances customer relations and creates a portal to reach out to new potential clientele and disseminate information while promoting positive feedback and combating the negative.

what does your reporting include?

Our reporting consists of monthly overviews; different platform insights and analysis; ad screenshots with relevant statistics; screenshots of top performing posts; and campaign call outs and next steps.

how much do your social media services cost?

At Alcove we offer a suite of Social Media Management services, with pricing starting at $1,200/month.

how much do your website services cost?

To get a better idea of the cost of what you want to build, give us a quick phone call. We’ll ask you a few questions about the nature of the site, what sort of interactivity the site will have, your graphic design needs, etc. Then we’ll be able to give you a ballpark figure. On average, website design pricing starts at $1,000/project fee.

Another company says they can build an inexpensive website for us. Why shouldn’t we use them?

We’ve seen those ads on the side of the road, too. Be wary of anyone who says they’ll build you a website or sell you a car for $600. There’s a possibility they’ll take your money and run. You can’t have custom graphic design; you can’t have any interactivity; your site won’t be optimized for search engines and it will look like a $600 site. 

Remember, a consultation with Alcove website services is always free and we just might be able to prevent you from wasting any additional money.

Will I have a say in the graphic design process?

Absolutely. Our goal is to make you happy. We can’t do that without your input. If there are other sites with a design style that you would like to emulate, we can do that. If you have a logo or brand collateral that you’d like us to work around, that’s no problem. We’ll be sure your new site will be a consistent and integral part of your overall brand.
